We evaluate each investment as if we would buy the total business and operate as if we did. We are focused on how each company’s competitive position evolves, how its position is strengthened and steps required if it erodes. Our operating experience enable us to early on identify any business issues and can either 1) step in and change board of directors/management to correct any operating mistake, or 2) exit our investment.

Market share development, earnings stability, returns on marginal invested capital, customer and employee satisfaction, customer response to new products, competitors’ behaviour, market cycle impact, changes in demand structure, changes in supply structure.
